Officials of UAE human trafficking prevention council to visit Minsk
A delegation of the United Arab Emirates (UAE)' human trafficking prevention council is scheduled to arrive in Minsk on Tuesday afternoon.
The delegation is to be led by Saeed Al Ghafli, assistant secretary-general of the UAE's Ministry of Federal National Committee Affairs.
The major goal of the visit is to look at activities of a center that has recently been set up under the Belarusian interior ministry to provide training in the prevention of human trafficking, Kanstantsin Shalkevich, a spokesman for the interior ministry, said.
The delegation of the UAE National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking is scheduled to visit the center on Wednesday. On the following day, it will meet with senior officials of the interior ministry.
The program of the stay in the Belarusian capital city also includes meetings with representatives of the foreign, justice and education ministries, the Prosecutor General's Office, and the Minsk office of the International Organization for Migration.
The delegation is to leave Minsk on July 18. //BelapAN
