Minsk Arena hosts annual All-Star Game of Continental Hockey League

The second annual All-Star Game of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) took place in the newly built Minsk Arena on Saturday.

A red-dressed team consisting of Russian players and Belarusian goaltender Andrey Mezin, which was called Team Yashin, played against the rest of the world gathered into what was called Team Jagr.

In the presence of the capacity audience of 15,000, Team Jagr won 11-8.

Retired hockey legends Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier and Vyacheslav Fetisov, as well as KHL President Aleksandr Medvedev took part in the ceremonial opening faceoff.
