United Pro-democratic Forces to hold consultations with national legislatures on Belarus` participation in EURONEST PA
The United Pro-democratic Forces is set to hold consultations with MPs representing the countries that participate in the European Union`s Eastern Partnership, Anatol Lyabedzka, chairman of the United Civic Party, told BelaPAN on Tuesday.
The opposition coalition wants to clarify the stance that the parliaments of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine take on the possible composition of Belarus` delegation to the EU-Neighborhood East Parliamentary Assembly (EURONEST PA), Mr. Lyabedzka said. Reports had it that the speakers of the five national legislatures had suggested that the Belarusian delegation should include only members of the Belarusian National Assembly and no representatives of the country`s opposition.
