Belarusian State Food Industry Concern looking for investor to build oil refining plant

The Belarusian State Food Industry Concern (Beldzyarzhkharchpram) is looking for an investor to build a new vegetable oil refining plant in the Minsk region, Beldzyarzhkharchpram’s spokeswoman, Iryna Huseva, told reporters in Minsk on Wednesday.

As BelaPAN reports, with an initial output capacity of 150,000 tons a year, the plant will be an ultra modern facility to extract, refine, deodorize and bottle vegetable oils, Ms. Huseva said, adding that the project was estimated at €20 million. The plant will annually export 100,000 tons of oil and sell 50,000 tons domestically.
