Krakow City Council declares Lukashenka persona non grata
The City Council of Krakow has declared Alyaksandr Lukashenka persona non grata in the Polish city over the Belarusian government’s pressure on ethnic Polish community activists, Russia’s RIA Novosti news agency said.
The Krakow City Council also has urged the European Parliament to make an all-out effort to protect the Polish ethnic minority’s activists, who it says are subject to persecution in Belarus. //BelaPAN
