Belarus will continue talks with EU on easier travel rules, deputy foreign minister says

Belarus will continue talks with the European Union on the liberalization of visa rules, Deputy Foreign Minister Valery Varanetski told reporters in Minsk on Monday.

"Belarus advocates the abolition of the visa restrictions that exist today [in relations] with the European Union. We plan talks on the liberalization of visa rules. This will, of course, have an impact on our country's transport potential," he said.

The deputy minister emphasized Belarus' opportunities as a country crossed by key international transport routes. //BelaPAN
