Alyaksandr Lukashenka, by his March 14 edict, has removed the customs duty on exports of petroleum products made from Russian crude oil subject to duty.
The duty also will no longer apply to the exports that are made from crude “supplied by other countries.”
The edict is aimed at “ensuring the efficient operation of Belarus’ oil and gas processing organizations.”
It applies to the list of products exported to markets outside the Eurasian Economic Community that includes Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. //BelaPAN
