Police try to prevent opposition activists from getting to Minsk to attend “Dzen Voli” demonstration
Police on March 25 tried to prevent opposition activists from traveling to Minsk to attend the “Dzen Voli (Freedom Day) demonstration to be staged in the city in the evening on the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of the proclamation of the independence of the Belarusian National Republic (BNR).
As BelaPAN reports referring ot Belarusian Christian Democracy, police officers stopped four members of the party at the railroad station in Babruysk, Mahilyow region, and prevented them from taking a train to Minsk.
