Jose Manuel Pinto Teixeira, head of the European Commission's Delegation to Ukraine and Belarus, speaks about political dialogue between the European Union and Minsk in an interview with BelaPAN.
The diplomat emphasizes the importance of continuing this dialogue and warns that the facilitation of visa formalities for Belarusian citizens will depend on progress in political relations.
Mr. Teixeira also raises the subject of economic contacts, noting that EU experts have helped Belarusian manufacturers improve their practices to conform to EU standards and have an opportunity to export to the 27-nation bloc.
