Belarusian rock festival held near Minsk
A leading Belarusian rock festival was held at the Silichy sports center near Minsk on Saturday, BelaPAN reports.
As many as 121 young rock acts took part in the Movement for a Fresh Air, a contest that was organized as part of the festival. Their performances were judged by the public in an online voting and by a professional jury.
Six bands made it into the final. Homyel-based Ban Zhvibra won the top prize, a legendary Gibson Flying V guitar and a show on one stage with the festival’s headliners -- Ukrainian rock band Vopli Vidoplyasova and famous Belarusian rockers.
