Belarus' national airline Belavia will launch direct passenger air services from Minsk to Stockholm and Tehran on August 3, BelaPAN reports.
Canadian-made CRJ-100/200 planes will carry passengers between the capitals of Belarus and Sweden three times a week, according to the Belavia press office. A US-made Boeing-737/500 will make weekly flights between Minsk and the capital city of Iran.
The average flight time is expected to be one hour 45 minutes on the former route and three hours 50 minutes on the latter route. Belavia passengers will be able to get convenient connecting flights to CIS and other foreign countries from the Minsk National Airport, the press office said.
Belavia will soon start offering tickets at "special attractive" prices, the press office said, noting that both economy and business class tickets would be available for all flights.
