The Belarusian national soccer team must produce a "top-class display" in their friendly against Lithuania in Kaunas on August 11, head coach Bernd Stange told reporters in Minsk on Monday, as quoted by BelaPAN.
The game will be the squad's dress rehearsal for September's 2012 Euro qualifier against France in Paris.
"Today the best players available to us play in the Belarusian national team," the coach said.
He revealed that he knew nothing about the squad that France would field against Belarus.
Assistant coach Vadzim Skrypchanka will travel to Norway to watch a friendly between the home team and France this week.
"If the French side win in Norway, the same lineup will play against us. If they lose, they will have to change players," Mr. Stange said.
