A group of bikers from Australia, Canada, Poland and the United Kingdom visited Kurapaty and Khatyn on September 1 to honor the memory of victims of the Communist and Nazi regimes on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the outbreak of World War II, BelaPAN reports.
The bikers, ethnic Poles, were on the “Path of Katyn” tour to Lithuania, Belarus, Russia and Ukraine.
The commemorative events at Kurapaty and Khatyn were attended by Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister Valery Varanetski and representatives of the Polish embassy in Minsk.
