First-ever Belarusian-Indonesian business forum to be held in Minsk
The first-ever Belarusian-Indonesian business forum will be held in Minsk on September 17, Andrey Savinykh, spokesman for the Belarusian foreign ministry, told reporters in Minsk on Thursday, as quoted by BelaPAN.
At the event, managers of the Zhodzina-based Belarusian Automobile Plant (BelAZ), Minsk Wheeled Tractor Plant and Awtatekhinmash industrial group will sign a memorandum of cooperation with Indonesia’s Dataina Corporation, the spokesman said.
The Indonesian delegation led by Trade Minister Mari Elka Pangestu was to arrive in Minsk on Thursday. The minister is scheduled to meet with Foreign Minister Syarhey Martynaw and Vasil Ramanaw, chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to discuss ways of stepping up economic relations and two-way trade, Mr. Savinykh said.
