Bahraini national arrested for supplying prostitutes to Middle Eastern millionaires
A 35-year-old citizen of Bahrain has been arrested in Minsk on suspicion of supplying prostitutes to visiting businesspeople from Middle Eastern countries.
The man met wealthy Arabs in expensive casinos abroad, inviting them to travel to Minsk and be entertained by Belarusian girls, Alyaksandr Danilchanka, spokesman for the Minsk regional police department, told BelaPAN.
The Bahraini leased two villas near Minsk where his clients met prostitutes, mostly young women who had moved to the Belarusian capital from the provinces to study at universities.
The police have established that at least six men used the Bahraini`s services and some 50 well-paid prostitutes were involved.
The suspect is believed to have earned some $500,000 through pimping, according to Mr. Danilchanka.
