Battle of Grunwald reenacted near Minsk

The 1410 Battle of Grunwald was reenacted during a medieval festival at a folk arts and crafts museum near Minsk this past weekend.

Hosted by the Dudutki museum, the two-day event also included mock knight and armor-bearer tournaments, archery contests and a concert featuring, among others, bands Stary Olsa, Znich, Cornucopia, Relikt, Bez Paniki, and Rokash.

During the battle that took place on July 15, 1410, the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Litva (Lithuania) defeated the knights of the Teutonic Order. //BelaPAN
