Another convict executed in Belarus
Another convict has been executed in Belarus, the Vyasna human rights center reported on Monday with reference to the Mahilyow Regional Court, BelaPAN said.

he 45-year-old Ryhor (Hryhoriy) Yuzepchuk, a Roma man born in Ukraine’s Zhytomyr province who was earlier convicted of killing three people, was sentenced to death on April 24, 2013. The Supreme Court rejected his appeal last August.
In the early summer of 2012, the man, who was serving a 25-year prison sentence, reportedly played a game of dominoes with his future victim, with the stake being life. He won and strangled the loser with a scarf with the help of another cellmate, a 23-year-old resident of Barysaw.
The Mahilyow Regional Court sentenced his young accomplice to 16 years in prison.
Ryhor Yuzepchuk is a cousin of Vasil Yuzepchuk who was executed in Belarus in March 2010 at the age of 30 after being found guilty of murdering and robbing six elderly women in villages in the Drahichyn district, Brest region.
