    Heat in Minsk drives people to beaches

    Thousands of Minsk residents take a dip in water reservoirs in and around the capital city every day as the mercury is expected to reach 35 degrees Celsius this week.

    The beaches of multiple reservoirs are crowded even on workdays as people are desperate to cool off amid the unrelenting heatwave.

    The pictures were made at Tsnyanskaye Reservoir in northeastern Minsk.
