Belarus to sign agreement with Chile on visa-free travel for holders of diplomatic passports
Alyaksandr Lukashenka has, by his presidential edict, approved a draft interstate agreement on visa-free travel for the holders of diplomatic and official passports, which is to be signed with Chile, reported the presidential press office.
The foreign ministry has been empowered to hold talks on the draft agreement with the appropriate Chilean authorities and sign it on behalf of Belarus, the press office said.
By another edict, the head of state has empowered Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich to sign the Minamata Convention on Mercury, a global treaty to protect human health and the environment from the adverse effects of mercury, which was adopted and opened for signature in October 2013. // BelaPAN
