Three more people hurt in Pinskdrew explosion moved to Minsk hospital
Three people injured in Monday's explosion at woodworking company ZAT Pinskdrew were transferred from hospitals in the Brest region to Minsk's Emergency Hospital late on October 27.
Two of them were in serious condition as of Thursday morning, while another was in extremely critical condition, Viktar Sirenka, chief physician at the Minsk-based hospital, told BelaPAN.
The latter patient received treatment in the intensive care unit, while the other two were in the burns unit.
"The state of the seven other injured people who were brought to the hospital earlier has not changed and is described as extremely critical," Mr. Sirenka said.
Five more Pinskdrew workers remained in serious condition in the intensive care unit of the Brest Regional Hospital, while another two people were treated in the intensive care unit of the Pinsk Central Hospital. Their condition was also described as serious.
Another woman hurt in the blast was in the neurosurgery unit of the Pinsk hospital. Her condition was said to be satisfactory.
The patients receiving treatment in Brest and Pinsk were seen by Volha Pochapen, the health ministry's chief burns specialist, on October 27.
