Russia, Ukraine resume electricity deliveries to Belarus
Russia and Ukraine resumed electricity deliveries to Belarus on February 4.
Russia's Inter RAO UES electricity exporter had not supplied electricity to Belarus for some time because of the lack of an effective contract. Deliveries to Belarus accounted for 18 percent of the company’s overall exports last year.
Ukraine’s Ukrinterenerho exporter halted deliveries to Belarus in late January over price differences but resumed supplies on Friday, the Unian news agency said.
Maksim Kucher, director of Ukrinterenerho, confirmed on February 4 that the company had resolved its price differences with Belarus, according to Unian. //BelaPAN
