Lukashenka approves appointment of Ihar Zhylin as head of state petrochemical conglomerate, gives consent to other appointments
Alyaksandr Lukashenka on February 4 approved the appointment of Ihar Zhylin as head of the Belarusian State Petrochemical Concern (Belnaftakhim).
Mr. Zhylin succeeded Valery Kazakevich, who had served in the position since July 2007.
According to the presidential press office, the head of state also gave his consent to the appointment of:
- Alyaksandr Huryanaw as deputy minister of foreign affairs;
- Alyaksandr Averyanaw as director of the foreign ministry’s External Economic Activities Department;
- Vasil Kazakevich as deputy minister of agriculture and food;
- Anton Kudasaw as deputy minister of economy;
- Mikalay Zaychanka, formerly economy minister, as deputy secretary general of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC);
- Ivan Bambiza, formerly deputy prime minister, as deputy secretary general/member of the Permanent Committee of the Belarusian-Russian Union State;
- Hanna Dzyayko, formerly minister of taxes and duties, as deputy secretary general/member of the Permanent Committee of the Belarusian-Russian Union State;
- Mikhail Savyanok as deputy head of the Finance and Budgetary Policy Department of the Permanent Committee of the Belarusian-Russian Union State; - Mikalay Luzhin as first deputy chairperson of the board of the National Bank of Belarus;
- Syarhey Kalechyts as member of the board of the National Bank;
- Alyaksandr Zamzhytski as first deputy head of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee;
- Andrey Khudyk s deputy head of the Hrodna Regional Executive Committee;
- Alyaksandr Astrowski as head of the Lida District Executive Committee;
- Mikalay Rozum as head of the Voranava District Executive Committee;
- Ivan Krakhmalchyk as head of the Dzyatlava District Executive Committee;
- Anatol Markevich as head of the Navahrudak District Executive Committee;
- Alyaksandr Paznyak as head of the Polatsk City Executive Committee;
- Valyantsin Mikhnevich as member of the Hrodna Regional Executive Committee;
- Aleh Silvanovich as director of the Cinematography Department of the Ministry of Culture;
- Viktar Martsinovich as deputy director of the Financial Investigations Department of the State Control Committee;
- Yahor Sinyak as deputy director of the Financial Investigations Department of the State Control Committee;
- Syarhey Barysyonak as director general of Belspetszneshtechnika, a state arms export company;
- Ruslan Sarakavy as director general of Kryshtal, a Homyel-based diamond processing company;
- Alyaksandr Sharak as director general of Belmedtekhnika, a state medical equipment company;
- Syarhey Ankyda as rector of Minsk State Higher Radio Engineering College;
- Maksim Halpyarovich as editor in chief of Belaruski Histarychny Chasopis, a historical journal run by the Adukatsyya i Vykhavanne Publishing House. //BelaPAN
