French ambassador visiting Homyel
Michel Rainieri, the French ambassador to Belarus, arrived in Homyel on April 10 on a two-day visit.
On Sunday, the diplomat attended a service at a Roman Catholic church and met with priest Slavamir Laskowski.
As the Homyel Regional Executive Committee's press office told BelaPAN, Mr. Rainieri was scheduled to meet with administrators and students at Homyel State University's French-Belarusian Management Institute on April 11.
On the same day, the ambassador was expected to attend the inauguration of a French painter's exhibition in the 18th-century Rumyantsev-Paskevich Palace in Homyel.
