Lukashenka: Cooperation between Belarus and China should be filled with maximum possible content
Cooperation between Belarus and China should be filled with the maximum possible content, Alyaksandr Lukashenka suggested Wednesday speaking to the foreign ministry’s staff.
“No one doubts the correctness of our policy aimed at strategic partnership with another powerful world leader [apart from Russia], the People’s Republic of China,” Mr. Lukashenka said. “It is necessary to fill this cooperation with the maximum possible content in all the areas we are interested in without delay.”
The Belarusian leader pointed out that it was important not to miss the opportunities emerging from the establishment of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park and the opening of an “unprecedented Chinese credit line.”
However, “while working with these giants, one should pay attention to Belarus’ strategic partners in the CIS, Latin America and Asia,” Mr. Lukashenka said. “They represent a reliable support for Belarus in the international arena and a huge market for Belarusian goods. We are always sincerely welcome there.” //BelaPAN
