Delegation of Belarus’ Liberal Democratic Party meets with Duma members in Moscow
A delegation of Belarus’ Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), led by Chairman Syarhey Haydukevich, had a number of meetings with members of the State Duma (lower house of Russia’s federal parliament) while staying in Moscow on October 25 and 26.
In particular, according to the party’s press office, the delegation met with the leadership of the group of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) in the State Duma.
The meeting focused on changes in the geopolitical situation, the political situation in the region, and the establishment by Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia of the Common Economic Zone, the press office said, noting that the two parties would sign a cooperation agreement during a visit of the LDPR’s Duma members to Minsk.
LDP Deputy Chairman Aleh Haydukevich, who is the son of Syarhey Haydukevich, and Vladimir Ovsiannikov, a member of the LDPR Supreme Council, were assigned to coordinate cooperation between the LDP and the LDPR group in the Duma. //BelaPAN
