Lukashenka greets participants of Belarusian Investment Forum
Alyaksandr Lukashenka has sent a message of greetings to the participants of the Seventh Belarusian Investment Forum, which kicked off in Minsk on November 15.
The development of partnership with foreign businesspeople is an important priority for the economic policy of the Belarusian government, Mr. Lukashenka says in his message, according to the presidential press office. "That is why we have invited representatives of the business elites in nearly all regions of the world," he says. "I believe that an influential expert platform has been created here for discussing strategic and tactical issues of doing business."
According to Mr. Lukashenka, he expects businesspeople to have a frank conversation during the forum, take specific steps regarding investment proposals and discuss the problems they have already encountered in Belarus.
"For our part, we guarantee the best conditions for doing business to the investors," Mr. Lukashenka says. "We have a dynamically developing economy, a favorable investment and tax climate, a good infrastructure, reliable protection and a whole number of preferences," he says.
The establishment of the Common Economic Zone of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia opens new opportunities for business cooperation, Mr. Lukashenka notes. "And the most important thing is that a talented, hardworking and hospitable Belarusian people lives at the center of Europe," he concludes. //BelaPAN
