State Control Committee finds irregularities in operation of hockey club HC Homyel
The State Control Committee (SCC) has found irregularities in the operation of hockey club HC Homyel.
As a SCC spokesperson told BelaPAN, the state-owned club has a doctor and a massage therapist although it has never received a license to provide medical care.
An SCC audit also found accounting irregularities at the club and established that HC Homyel had provided inaccurate statistical data to the sports ministry and the Homyel Regional Executive Committee.
In addition, HC Homyel failed to inform the local employment authorities about vacant jobs at the club.
The SCC considers punishment against the club and its employees over the irregularities.
