Minsk hosts CSTO talks on preparations for joint exercise
Delegations representing the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) held talks in Minsk this week to discuss preparations for a joint exercise to be held later this year.
Titled Cooperation 2013, the maneuvers are expected to take place in Belarus this fall.
As the Belarusian defense ministry's press office told BelaPAN, the April 2-3 negotiations involved representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and the secretariat of the CSTO Combined Staff.
The officials discussed the plan of the preparations and the exercise's draft scenario. They also traveled to sites where the maneuvers are to be held. //BelaPAN
