Visiting OSCE freedom media representative meets with top media executive
Dunja Mijatovic, the OSCE representative on freedom of the media, in Minsk on Wednesday met with Henadz Davydzka, head of the Belarusian State Television and Radio Company (BSTRC).
The meeting, which was held on the initiative of Ms. Mijatovic, focused on the introduction of digital broadcasting in Belarus and the possibility of establishing a public television network, according to the BSTRC press office.
Mr. Davydzka stressed that the Belarusian State Television and Radio Company was open for a dialogue on the development of television broadcasting, the press office said. //BelaPAN
