Belarusian foreign minister to visit Serbia next week

Belarusian Foreign Minister Uladzimir Makey is to stay in Serbia between July 3 and July 5 on an official visit, Andrey Savinykh, spokesman for the Belarusian foreign ministry, said at Thursday’s briefing.

Mr. Makey is expected to meet with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic; Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic; the president of the Serbian National Assembly, Nebojsa Stefanovic; Serbian Foreign Minister Ivan Mrkic; and the presidential aide for economic issues.

Mr. Makey is also expected to have a meeting with representatives of Serbian business circles and to participate in the opening ceremony for the honorary consulate of Belarus in the city of Novi Sad. //BelaPAN
