Lithuania presents note to Belarusian embassy over African swine fever case
The Lithuanian government on Thursday presented a note to the Belarusian embassy in connection with a case of African swine fever, which was registered in the Hrodna region not far away from the Lithuanian border last week.
"Given possible threats in connection with the possible spread of African swine fever, the note demands that detailed information be presented without delay about the outbreak and steps taken by Belarus to prevent the further spread [of the disease]," said the Lithuanian foreign ministry`s press office. //BelaPAN
