Finance ministry to hold third auction to sell foreign-currency bonds
The finance ministry will hold a third auction to sell its foreign-currency bonds to legal entities at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE) on July 29.
The ministry plans to raise $9 million through the auction, said its press office.
The bonds have a 7.25-percent coupon and will reach maturity in February 2017, said the press office. One bond is priced at $50,000. Interest will be paid to bond holders once in three months.
The finance ministry sold $50 million in bonds in the first-ever bond auction at the BCSE this past April and $41 million in another auction on July 23.//BelaPAN
