Government hoping to collect nearly five trillion rubels in potash export duties in 2014
The government plans to collect almost five trillion rubels ($537 million) in export duties on potash in 2014, according to the finance ministry.
The ministry noted that the target would be met if potash producer Belaruskali's exports were restored to last year's level.
The economy ministry projects Belarus' potash exports to amount to seven million tons in 2014, with the average per ton price forecast at $300.
Revenues from export duties are expected to increase by 13 percent to 15.7 trillion rubels next year.
Tax revenues from external economic activity are projected to total some 26 trillion rubels, a rise of 10 percent compared with this year. //BelaPAN
