US State Department official to visit Belarus this week
Eric Rubin, deputy assistant secretary in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs at the US Department of State, is to stay in Belarus on December 11 and 12.
Mr. Rubin is expected to meet with Belarusian government officials, opposition politicians and civil society activists.
On the evening of December 11, Mr. Rubin is to meet with Foreign Minister Uladzimir Makey, according to the press office of the Belarusian foreign ministry. //BelaPAN
