Russian ambassador cancels news conference in Minsk
Aleksandr Surikov, the Russian ambassador to Belarus, has cancelled his news conference that was scheduled to be held in Minsk on Friday.
The Russian embassy said on Thursday that it “has the honor to announce” that the ambassador’s meeting with media representatives, scheduled for March 14, would not take place.
The embassy did not explain the reason for the cancellation.
On March 11, the embassy said that the ambassador would speak about current and pressing issues concerning Russian-Belarusian relations and international problems. //BelaPAN
