Video: Infrastructure built for nuclear plant construction in western Belarus
Although the government has yet to secure funding for the construction of Belarus’ first-ever nuclear power plant, efforts to build infrastructure for the ambitious project are in full swing in the Hrodna region.
Two high-rise apartment buildings for construction workers and the future plant’s personnel have already been completed on the outskirts of Astravets, a town that is expected to grow rapidly thanks to the project.
A few families have already moved into one of the houses. One of the buildings houses the nuclear project management directorate. //BelaPAN
