Belarusian pop stars shine at Slavyanski Bazar festival
Belarusian pop stars took to the stage at the Slavyanski Bazar festival in Vitsyebsk on July 11, BelaPAN reports.
The concert was dedicated to late musician Uladzimir Mulyavin, who led folk rock band Pesnyary for years. The show featured Pesnyary hits performed both by the band and other Belarusian acts.
Anatol Yarmolenka, lead singer of pop band Syabry, said that he was happy to perform "at Europe's best venue."
Alyaksandra Hayduk debuted her new song, Chagall, about the renowned Belarusian-born artist, while members of the dancing troupe of the Hrodna Regional Philharmonic Society displayed a Georgian-style dance performance.
