New president of Kyrgyzstan congratulates Lukashenka on reelection

The new president of Kyrgyzstan, Roza Otunbayeva, has congratulated Alyaksandr Lukashenka on his reelection as president of Belarus for a fourth term.

“I am convinced that the traditionally friendly relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Belarus will have a proper continuation in the interests of our states and nations,” Ms. Otunbayeva says in her congratulatory message, according to the Belarusian leader’s press office.

Congratulations have also been received from the king and prime minister of Saudi Arabia, Abdallah bin Abd al-Aziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abd al-Aziz Al Saud. //BelaPAN
