Belarus’ base inflation in 2011 reported at 118.1 percent
Belarus’ base inflation, which does not include price fluctuations caused by seasonal factors and the rise in prices controlled by the government, was 118.1 percent in 2011, reported the National Statistics Committee (Belstat).
The base inflation index in December 2011 was 102.1 percent against November 2011 and 218.1 percent against December 2010, with food prices rising by 2.2 and 132.4 percent, the prices of non-food consumer goods by 1.6 and 112.9 percent, and the prices of services by 3.3 and 78.1 percent, respectively, Belstat said. //BelaPAN
