Lukashenka meets with Russian foreign minister

Alyaksandr Lukashenka met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Minsk on October 30 to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries within international organizations.

The meeting also focused on pressing issues on the international agenda, according to the Belarusian leader's press office.

"It's pleasant to meet with you," Mr. Lukashenka was quoted as saying at the meeting. "It's very good that we are meeting at this very moment, there are issues that we must discuss. Given the fact that we are meeting with a friend of our country, I'm determined to have a frank and positive talk." //BelaPAN
