Belarus had trade deficit of $337 million in November, official statisticians report

Belarus had a deficit of $337 million in foreign trade in goods and services in November, according to data from the National Statistical Committee (Belstat).

The nation had a deficit of $79.3 million in August, a deficit of $154.6 million in September and a deficit of $165.9 million in October after a surplus in each of the previous months of 2012, according to Belstat.

As Belstat said, Belarus had a surplus of 3,254 million in foreign trade in goods and services in the first 11 months of the year compared with a deficit of $935.5 million in the same period in 2011.

Belarus’ foreign trade reportedly totaled some $92.3 billion in the first 11 months of 2012, a year-on-year increase of 8.2 percent, with exports amounting to $47,775 million, a 13.3-percent rise, and imports to $44,521 million, a 3.3-percent increase. //BelaPAN
