Croatian delegation led by OSCE PA vice president expected to visit Belarus
A Croatian delegation led by Tonino Picula, vice president of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and chairman of the Croatian parliamentary group for cooperation with the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, is expected to visit Minsk.
The issue was discussed in Vienna on February 21 during a meeting between a Belarusian parliamentary delegation, led by House of Representatives Deputy Chairman Viktar Huminski, and a Croatian parliamentary delegation on the sidelines of the OSCE PA’s Winter Meeting.
The delegations discussed issued concerning the development of Belarusian-Croatian relations in various areas and agreed on the need to expand inter-parliamentary contacts, step up trade and economic cooperation and develop the legal basis for bilateral relations, reported the Belarusian embassy in Austria.
Mr. Picula accepted an invitation to visit Belarus as part of a delegation of the Croatian unicameral parliament, the Sabor, which would also include representatives of Croatian business circles. //BelaPAN
