Government to set up agency for procuring goods for Belarusian athletes

 

The Council of Ministers, by its April 29 directive, ordered the establishment of a state agency for procuring goods for Belarusian national teams and individual athletes.

Called Belsportzabespyachenne, the agency will buy goods needed for Belarusian athletes' participation in international tournaments abroad and preparations for them, according to the cabinet's press office.

In addition, the agency will procure goods for professional and amateur sports tournaments held in Belarus.

The agency will take over the function from a state-owned company under the same name. // BelaPAN
