Lukashenka to meet with presidents of Russia, Kazakhstan this week

Alyaksandr Lukashenka will meet with his Russian and Kazakh counterparts at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council of the Customs Union in Astana on May 28 and 29.

The further development of integration within the Customs Union and the Common Economic Zone and the planned establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union on January 1, 2015 will top the agenda of the talks, according to the Kremlin’s press office.

Mr. Lukashenka, as well as Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev are expected to discuss the implementation of their directives regarding the functioning of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Zone. //BelaPAN
