Prime Minister Myasnikovich meets with state secretary of Belarusian-Russian Union State

Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich met Thursday in Minsk with Grigory Rapota, state secretary of the Belarusian-Russian Union State to discuss the agenda of the forthcoming meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State, reported the Belarusian government’s news agency BelTA.

The sides discussed pressing issues concerning Belarusian-Russian relations, including those relations to the implementation of joint projects, BelTA said.

There has been a positive trend in this sphere, noted Mr. Rapota, according to BelTA.

A number of new joint scientific and technical programs in areas ranging from agriculture to space exploration are expected to be discussed during the forthcoming meeting, Mr. Rapota was quoted as saying.
