Belarusian-Turkish working group on industrial and technological cooperation holding first meeting
The first-ever meeting of a Belarusian-Turkish working group on industrial and technological cooperation began in Belarus on Monday.
Deputy Industry Minister Alyaksandr Aharodnikaw leads the Belarusian delegation to the meeting, which will take place in Minsk and Mahilyow and last through September 14, reported the press office of the Belarusian foreign ministry. The Turkish delegation is headed by Sufyan Emiroglu, general director for industry in the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology.
The delegations are scheduled to hold talks at the industry ministry, participate in a business matchmaking session at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and visit major industrial companies in the Minsk and Mahilyow regions, the Mahilyow Regional Executive Committee, the State Standardization Committee, institutes of the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences, and the Mahilyow Free Economic Zone.
The Belarusian-Turkish working group on industrial and technological cooperation was set up to generate proposals for starting joint enterprises and consider the possibility of establishing a Turkish industrial zone in Belarus. //BelaPAN
