Lithuanian company may help Belarus build , waste recycling plant
Ihar Voytaw, head of the State Committee on Science and Technologies (SCST) of Belarus met Wednesday in Minsk with managers of Lithuania’s JSC Manfula to discuss its possible involvement in the construction of a sheet metal and tin plant and a waste recycling plant in Belarus.
The sheet metal and tin plant is to be built in the Myory district, Vitsyebsk region, under the Belarusian government`s innovation development program for the period between 2011 and 2015, the SCST press office told BelaPAN.
As for the waste recycling plant, the Manfula executives told Mr. Voytaw about technologies used during the construction of a similar plant in Lithuania`s city of Klaipeda, according to the press office.
