Russian pipeline operator to cut oil deliveries to Belarus by no more than 138,000 tons in September
Russia's oil pipeline operator Transneft is to reduce its oil deliveries to Belarus in September by no more than 138,000 tons, according to media reports.
The company warned this past summer that in September, it would supply 400,000 tons less of crude oil to Belarus than expected because of repairs to the Druzhba oil pipeline.
However, Igor Dyomin, an aide to the Transneft president, announced this week that the company had changed the period of the repairs and used another route to pump oil to Belarus.
A total of 1.47 million tons of Russian crude oil is to be pipelined to Belarus in September. //BelaPAN
