Foreign Minister Makey discusses Belarus-US economic relations with American lawyer
Belarusian Foreign Minister Uladzimir Makey met Friday in Minsk with David Baron, a lawyer at a Washington, D.C.-based law firm called Greenberg Traurig, LLP who co-chairs the Belarus-US Business Cooperation Council.
“During the meeting, the sides discussed issues concerning trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, including through holding joint events within the framework of the Belarus-US Business Cooperation Council,” reported the press office of the Belarusian foreign ministry.
According to his official biography on the Greenberg Traurig website, Mr. Baron is a member of the firm's Global Trade & Investment Practice Group, where he focuses his practice on international dispute resolution and public international law issues.
