Construction of plant that will assemble Belarusian tractors in Tajikistan discussed in Dushanbe

Belarusian Ambassador Volha Hawruk met with Tajik Industry Minister Shavkat Boboyev in Dushanbe on Tuesday and discussed the construction of a plant in Tajikistan that would assemble tractors from Belarusian components.

Located in the city of Kulyab, the plant will assemble the Minsk Tractor Works' Belarus tractors.

According to the Belarusian foreign ministry’s press office, Ms. Hawruk and Mr. Boboyev also discussed issues relating to the manufacture of electric appliances as well as attachments and trailers for agricultural equipment.

In addition, they discussed the supply of Belarusian mining equipment to Tajikistan and ways of increasing cooperation in the light industry, the press office said. //BelaPAN
